As we move into this wonderful warm weather of spring, for me personally this season spells new beginnings! I’m excited that the lockdown restrictions have been reduced to Level 2 from 1 September 2020; however, we are not yet out of the danger of the Covid 19 pandemic, we still need to remain vigilant at all times.
I would like to inform you that our Annual General Meeting will not take place in September due the changes in the whole public sector that was brought about the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. However, the provisional date for the AGM is 03rd December 2020, and communication will be shared in due course.
Please take note that our external auditors, the Auditor-General of South Africa will be finalising the external audit for the financial year 2019/20 by end of September 2020, in time for the Minister, Dr Blade Nzimande to table our Annual Integrated Report in Parliament in November 2020, it will then be made available to the sector beginning of December 2020.
In Septembe we celebrate our heritage month as a nation, as we celebrate let us be reminded that a nation's heritage resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.
