BOARD AND COMMITTEES
The Minister has extended the Setas until 31 March 2030. A new Board was appointed from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2025. The Fasset Board is supported by six sub-committees, they are as follows: 1. Executive Committee (EXCO), 2. Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), 3. Social and Ethics Committee (SET), 4. Finance Committee (FINCO), 5. Human Resources & Remuneration Committee (HREMCO); and 6. Governance and Strategy Committee (GSC).
BOARD
The Board is Fasset’s Accounting Authority. As the highest governing structure, the Board provides strategic leadership for Fasset; it provides assurance to all stakeholders that Fasset is fulfilling its obligations in terms of the Fasset constitution and the Skills Development Act, and reports to the Minister of Higher Education and Training as the Executive Authority of the Seta.
