Fasset two day workshop on Business Writing and Presentation Skills was held in November and December 2016. The workshop provided delegates with the information and tools required to develop their business writing and presentation skills. It was dealing with typical problem areas of grammar, i.e. vocabulary, tenses, punctuation, concord, active and passive voice, as well as introducing delegates to mind-mapping, document planning, drafting and editing. The Presentation Skills component of the workshop covered element like analysing the audience, structure of the presentation and use of visual aids. |

Fasset’s full day seminar on Ethic, Risk, Governance and Fraud was held countrywide in November 2015. Seminar covered the subject principles and provide practical tips, ensuring an intermediate level understanding of Ethics, Risk, Governance and Fraud. The aim of the seminar was to equip delegates with the working knowledge of Ethics in order to be able to identify, understand, plan, establish and monitor those key areas in your business that will assist in building the right Governance structures that support your Risk Management efforts, whilst entrenching an ethical culture to enable you to proactively identify Fraud and mitigate the prevalence thereof. |

Aspects covered included understanding office etiquette in the modern organisation, learning the conventional rules of office etiquette, understanding what professional office relations are made up of, dealing effectively with elements of office etiquette such as introductions, handshakes, office attire, meetings, netiquette, e-mail etiquette, confidentiality, ethics at work, communicating professionally at the office, dealing with difficult people at work and other trends if office etiquette. |
